McIntyres British Hairdressing Award 2012 collection revealed

At McIntyres Salons we’re all on countdown to the influential British Hairdressing Awards 2013 which take place next week, Monday 26th November in London.
“Gothic Fantasy” was the inspiration for Kay McIntyre’s extraordinary new images, which after months of keeping under lock and key have now been revealed online by Hairdressers Journal https://www.hji.co.uk/blogs/2012/11/kay-mcintyre-2012-scottish-hai.html
Kay is in the running for the highest and most impressive award in Scottish hairdressing, ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year’, along with only 5 other Scottish Salons .
Having been awarded the title twice before, a third win will see Kay and McIntyres enter the history books as a member of the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame. (So, yes the champagne is on ice for sure!)
Kay named her collection “Gothic Fantasy” after being inspired by the feverish fascination for otherworldy fantasy tales like Twilight and Once Upon A Time. The strong silhouettes of the hair shapes are balanced with a variety of soft and hard textures, whilst the grainy tones of the photographs create a shadowy mood where the hair can take centre-stage.
