Saturday’s massive Chime For Change event proved to be the huge success anticipated with performances by Beyonce (and husband Jay-Z), Florence and the Machine, Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J and more as well as appearances by Madonna, Salma Hayek, James Franco, Ryan Reynolds and a video message from Prince Harry.
The charity, co-founded by Beyonce, Salma Heyak and Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, endeavors to “promote education, health and justice for every girl, every woman, everywhere” as well as funds to help 120 projects in 70 countries, the Twickenham stadium concert drew an unprecedented line up of predominately female stars although John Legend and Timbaland stepped up to do their bit.
McIntyres own Michael Howie was there as part of the Sebastian Cult Team, making sure the stars looked their best for the global broadcast. We can’t confirm he did Beyonce hair but it’s looked good enough that he might’ve.
