Yesterday we reported on Kerastase’s new Couture Styling range with supermodel Kate Moss as its figurehead. Today we go in-depth and discover the products.
Split between a Construction range, for use on damp hair to shape, and a Finishing range, to use on dry and styled hair, the Couture Styling products offering a technological avante-garde for long-lasting fusional hold and absolute freedom of movement.
The Construction range is made up Mousse Bouffante, a lush volumising mousse, Lift Vertige, a root uplifting gel, Boucles D’Art, a curl defining mousse, Spray A Porter, a tousled effect spray, and Form Fatale, a voluptuous blow-dry gel.
The Finishing range consists of Gloss Appeal, for instant shine top-coat, Touche Finale, a supershine polishing serum, and Laque Couture, a fusional fixing laquer.
The magic behind the range comes from a new generation of micronized polymers which coat the fibre with an extensible mesh to hold without freezing. Protective agents preserve the fibre via anti-oxidant vitamin E, colour-protectie uv filters and a xylose thermoprotector. Aside from the scientific breakthroughs the range boasts pleasant textures inspired by skincare. Light and unctuous textures offer a clean touch without residue with a delicate fragrance.
