Wella And UNICEF Select UK ‘Making Waves’ Stylists
Wella And UNICEF have selected two UK stylists to travel to Brazil to mentor young people as part of their ‘Making Waves’ programme.Tom Wright of Chester and Aberdeen’s Philip Bell will go to Rio De Janiero to help train and inspire disadvantaged young people and give them hope and skills for their future.The programme aims to help 7500 young people with new life skills as well as access to three centres to learn hairdressing skills with the hope to give them a brighter future.The Wella And UNICEF ‘Making Waves’ programme recently raise 10,000 euros for its European launch in Romania (read McIntyre’s news story on it HERE) with an innovative 1 euro per retweet campaign on Twitter.
