McIntyres have partnered with Radio Tay , Tayside’s largest radio station to launch a competition to find the male and female ‘Face of 2010’
The winners shall receive a professional fashion shoot in London at Wella’s studio to start their portfolio , free hairdressing for a year with McIntyres salons, designer outfits from Debenhams, a personal trainer, and represented by a professional modelling agency.

The final judging and fashion show extravaganza will take place at Dundee’s Caird Hall on Sunday the 19th September

The National Hairdressers Federation’s National Conference 2010 is to be hosted at the Apex Hotel, Dundee, Scotland during the first weekend of October. The East of Scotland Area Council will be acting as hosts and shall welcome officials and delegates from across the UK on the Saturday with a Casino evening with buffet and wine. On the Sunday evening the President’s Banquet and Ball will be held, all members and friends welcome

Pamela Conway from Stobswell, Dundee is mum to Georgia Conway (aged 4 and a half) who has been long suffering from Leukemia since she was only 2 years old and has been in and out of Dundee’s Ninewells hospital, both had a fairytale day out organised by local fund raiser Charlie Kean who’s amazing Childrens Charity surprised them both with a fantastic day out to remember. McIntyre hairdressing Dundee,Scotland celebrates double success at the Wella Ttrend Vision Awards 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday night 18th May . Styists Sammy Galloway (Union Street Salon) and Lynn Hunter (Perth Road Salon) had to present their interpretations of their chosen category ‘Midnight Stage’ and ‘Techno Poetry’ to a distinguished judging panel together with a catwalk presentation to a passionate crowd of hairdressers from around Scotland.

Congratulations to Ally Deacon Style Director at McIntyres Dundee, Scotland on winning the National Hairdressing Federation’s Stylist of the Year 2010 prestigious hairdressing award. The competition receives entries from thousands of hair stylists from throughout the UK and consists of submitting a photographic image with hair cut and colour. Ally used local model Kirsty Miller pictured inset, Ally had to attend the award ceremony held in City Stadium in Cardiff. This is a significant achievement and the first time anyone from McIntyres has won this hairdressing award.
