Hairdresser Training
As Dundee’s largest independent hairdressing salon group, mcIntyres understands the importance of investing in and training its people. It is a firm McIntyres’ belief that education is the key to creative development, and maintaining the highest achievable quality of hairdressing. As a City & Guilds approved centre, the McIntyres Academy in Dundee, Scotland offers accredited hairdresser training courses for apprentices and more experienced stylists, with qualifications ranging from Level 1 to Level 3 NVQ. In addition to the set training courses, students are given unique opportunities to participate in tailor-made programmes, which can vary from business management to informative group sessions, and to learn from the best, including three-times Scottish Hairdresser of the Year, Kay McIntyre.
Influenced by the latest global trends, mcIntyres courses are relevant to the daily demands of the contemporary salon environment, from standard cutting and colour techniques, to more advanced creative and specialist styles.
